Stress

Nutrition

What I did for my nutrition project is creating a diet plan for my partner to improve their nutrition which also has to suit their lifestyle. Then we will use the tracker to compare the result to our initial diet. For the final step, we wrote a reflection on the plan. This project helped me to be an innovative thinker since I have to come up with good ideas that are practical. The plan is based on my knowledge from the class, so when I make the plan, I know what I don't understand yet. It's a great way to show my understanding and be able to apply it to daily life.

The poster from our group shows the progress of how stress affects physical changes in woman. The idea of this poster is to keep it simple. People who don't know about this before should be able to understand it quickly. Before we made the poster, we have to investigate the name and origin of those physical changes, given patient's symptoms. The project helped me to be innovative thinker and leader for the future because we got to work in team and researched for the symptoms, then created our original work.

Learning Method and Learning Process

This powerpoint include my learning plan that had developed through the process of learning and learning process or the summary of what I've learned that I gathered and put it into slides to help it easier to understand

Self-directed project is a final project in Skills For Life quarter 3 under the unit of Metacognition. The core of this project is to learn how to learn and to keep evaluate the way we learn best then reflect and record it down. We are able to choose our own topic to work on, and apart from the learning process record, we have freedom to decide on everything such as how we're going to present our knowledge in the final product. From its giving a lot of space for my creativity, I've learned to be an innovative thinker to create my original work and build on my ideas as well as being strategic leaner as I have to plan, evaluate, and monitor the process.

1st Mind Map

2nd Mind Map

For my final product, the outcome of learning, I decided to do 'Friendship Guide' to present the knowledge that I've learned in a simple and organized table showing suggestions on each stage to creating strong friendship relationship along with something you always have to keep in mind in Dos, Don'ts, and Remember.

Learning record includes 3 part; learning record form, monitoring record, and mind maps. These meant to illustrate how and what I learn.

Learning Record Form is divided into 3 parts. The left part show what I've learned throughout the project and answer question that I had from the middle and right boxes by colors.

Monitoring Record is where I used to set goal for each day and reflect on my learning plan in order to evaluate the plan and find the best way to learn.

Mind Maps from 1st one to 2nd one visualize how much I've learned. These mind map imitate the connections in our brain when we learn something. The neurons connection in the brain gets more complicated and connects stronger to other neurons with more informations.

Skills For Life

Skills For Life is one of my most favourite subjects in school. The subject not only teaches me life's essentials in a long run but also help me understand myself for how my body and brain work. For example, we've learned about sleeping, nutrition, physical fitness and learning how to learn. This subject involves many others in a field such as psychology, philosophy and neuroscience. It's a life-changing subject.
